1. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What kind of occupation did you have/or still have before you made your appearance?
2. Seeing you were on The Price is Right, what all did you have to do to become a contestant, like the audition sign-up and all that?
3. How long did you have to wait before you made your appearance?
4. When you found out you'd be on the season 34 finale, how was the initial reaction?
5. What was it like to be in the audience, in person?
6. Did you actually get to meet Bob Barker and Rich Fields in person? If so, did you get to talk to them a bit?
7. What pricing game did you play?
8. How can you compare Doug Davidson's version to Barker's?
9. In Spelling Bee terms, what combination did you do to win the Chevy Cobalt? (C-A-R or CAR?)
I uncovered a C-A-R, then 2 more R's. Bob was like, "Where'd he go? Where did the kid go? Oh, he's saying hello to the lovely Brandi!"
10. Do you still have any of the prizes you won on the taping?
11. Have you made any other TV appearances, than on TPiR?
12. What would you recommend to people who want to try out for ANY game show out there?
A sad and unfortunate twist of fate, Philip no longer has the Chevy Cobalt that he won. CBS kept tossing him more taxes to pay off the car, and so he sold it off to a local Carmax. He is continuing his life in Nevada.

Back then, I was a ticketing agent for the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino. I met people from Vegas, all over the U.S., the U.K., France, Germany, Russia, LOL
You just stand in line until 6 A.M. Pacific Time, that's when the gate opens. You're given a priority number, which is sorta like where you'll be seated. Man, the people were extremely nice in line.
I spoke to a couple of contestant coordinators. They saw me as a very nice guy that loved the Clock Game. It's true, as it's one of my favorites. They took a lot of notes about my likes, and someone told me that there's a good chance I was gonna get picked to be on the show...I didn't expect that at all! I wanted to be a contestant when I went to the show for the first time during my 23rd birthday. I even went to one of the primetime specials a couple of years back, where my bible study buddy from college, Wesley Santos was a contestant
I was bouncing like a bunny when the show started, but when my name got called, I was floored! I looked like an excited, typical African-American Price contestant. Though I cried some, I did calm down. (This reminded me of Vicki, when she was bouncing up-and-down in the aisles when she was called. Her moment became a blooper)
Gosh, it felt good! I was like a kid in a candy shop. I'll say it again, it was heaven!
Well, even though I got autographs from them and the models as well, I got to meet Brandi on stage after I had won the car. I even got to interact with Shane just a bit of couple of years back after Wesley embarrassed me infront of Bob, Rich, and the audience off-camera.
Spelling Bee. That's now my favorite pricing game, for a car at least. Ironically, I have a fear of bees.
I think Doug did a decent job for the show. I loved the intro, with the old school Plinko board, but the video wall looked kinda strange to me, though I liked the commercials
Istill do, mostly in boxes though. My mom's nagging me to sell my stuff, or put them in newspaper ads.
I've tried out for Pyramid and Deal or No Deal, but not anything else
I'd say you have to be yourself and have a good time. If you don't make it, keep trying. Oh, and let them know that you're really interested in that show you're trying out for
None can fathom the win he experienced on that day in 2004:
