Sale of the Century was a show I grew up watching while it was in reruns on USA with its Winner's Big Money Game, me being accustomed to that. As I grew up, I rember hearing about the other versions and then noticed ultimate champion Tim Holleran, who won $166,000+ while running on the syndicated version of Sale, with his last episode being a runaway from Pat and Lisa, his opponents. I began talking about Sale of the Century on February 16th, 2009. At around the 32-minute mark of the show, I brought in a new number that I had never seen before, and low-and-behold...TIM HOLLERAN!!! Pretty exciting for the big champ to call in, talking about what he thought of the show and the direction it went after he left. I can respect his thinking of the Instant Ca$h, because it was not living up to the point of what Sale was. He left a few minutes before the show ended, but it was still great for him to call in.
